Roof inspection Faster, safer and more detailed drone roof inspection

Our roof inspection services

Our drone services are the ideal tool for getting detailed reports on the status and condition of your roof. Ensuring that any future repair work is carried out in a cost and time-efficient manner. With drone surveys, there is no need for anyone to physically access your roof. This allows for a safer and faster collection of data, without causing any damage. Pinpoint analysis of an entire roof allows tradespeople to access only the areas that are necessary, dramatically reducing safety concerns, future maintenance, and budget costs.

Benefits of using a drone

Traditional methods for roof inspections and surveys are labour and time-intensive. Having personnel ascend to the roof means having to erect structural supports. Personnel also have to walk across the roof. The time this takes and the risk of liability and injury are unnecessary headaches to add to a project. Getting to certain areas can be risky and sometimes impossible. This means that getting a detailed, high-quality report is unlikely.

The use of drones allows you to extract far greater detail about the status of your roof in a fraction of the time, all while keeping your feet firmly on the ground. Our drones can take high-detailed photos and videos from a distance or close-up. We capture and analyse every inch of a roof, including hard-to-reach or confined spaces.

More advantages

  • High-Definition Data from all angles
  • See more than the naked eye
  • Reach confined & hard-to-reach areas
  • Pinpoint data for your tradespeople
  • No need to erect structural supports

Thermography taking the guesswork out of repairs

Not only can your entire roof be seen as the naked eye would see it, using our thermal imagery capable cameras we can also detect areas with water abnormalities. Water seeping through a roof is the cause of not only leakage into a building but also rot and mould within it. The cost-saving benefits of finding water damage before it can cause further damage are incalculable. The guilty areas with water damage, heat loss, cold spots, etc. are usually not obvious. Sometimes it is impossible to see them with the naked eye. Finding such defects, using "guess and check" methods, is time and money-consuming. It's also not uncommon to overlook these areas with traditional inspection methods. The consequences of this are devastating.

What can we inspect using a drone?

There are very few limitations to what we can survey using a drone. From checking the gutters, looking for roof leaks, inspection of the roofing to performing an emergency drone inspection after a storm or damage has occurred.

How we can help you

Engineers with Drones ensure that, after a roof inspection, you are up to speed with the condition of your roof. We will discuss your roof inspection requirements with you, ensuring that all areas of interest are covered. We will then report all current issues, as well as anything that could become an issue in the future. This gives you peace of mind to know that you can now go forward with repairs or replacements in the areas needed. You will be able to give your tradespeople pinpoint specifications.
