As a small company experiencing rapid growth, we're seeking a hands-on Business Administrator with strengths in operations management, business administration processes, compliance, and ISO certification to help manage and improve our expanding business. This role is ideal for a practical and organised individual who wants to make a lasting impact in a fast-paced industry and contribute to key growth projects in our Cork-based company.
There are two main aspects to this role:
This is the backbone of the role — keeping the wheels of the company turning smoothly and ensuring our systems are running optimally.
This side of the role is where you get to help steer the ship. As we expand, you'll be responsible for supporting and leading mini-projects that move us forward, such as...
We are a small, flexible and growing company. Once you've mastered the core responsibilities, you'll have the opportunity to broaden your role and take on new challenges. For example:
Engineers With Drones is one of the largest drone services companies in Ireland. We are at the forefront of an emerging technology and well-positioned for growth.
We provide drone surveys and inspections across a wide range of industries: energy, construction, infrastructure, land development, agriculture, and environmental monitoring. As a mainly B2B company, we work with knowledgeable professionals in these sectors.
We pride ourselves on being efficient and straight-thinking. We are constantly looking for ways to improve our systems and processes, and we encourage new ideas. At Engineers With Drones, the best idea always wins, and we leave our egos at the door.
No prior experience with drones or surveying is needed. This is not a drone-flying role. We will teach you everything you need to know about the industry to succeed in this position.
€35,000 - €45,000 gross per annum, depending on experience.
40 hours per week, working on a flexible schedule. We are a small company, so we can be responsive to the needs of our staff as required.
We are based in Cork, Ireland. We are particularly interested in candidates located in Cork City or West Cork. This role can also be hybrid, with the option to split your time between the office and working from home.
We place a lot of emphasis on training and upskilling here. This applies to both hard skills and soft skills.
We want this to be the right fit for both you and us. We encourage you to ask questions at every stage, as recruitment is a two-way process. We expect you to assess us just as much as we assess you. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch — we'll be more than happy to help.
If you are interested, please send your CV, along with a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and qualifications, to jobs@engineerswithdrones.ie
The closing date for this step is Sunday, 14th September 2025
We are conscious that your time may be limited, so we will be inviting shortlisted candidates through to the first round for an online interview.
We want to give you the opportunity to meet us in person, to help you decide if we are the right company for you. We would also like to ask you a few more questions in person if that works for you. It's part of the recruitment process, but more so as an informal chat and an opportunity for you to ask us anything you'd like.
We will need two references who know you in a professional capacity, and who we can phone.
