What can a drone actually do for my organisation?
Broadly, two things: inspect an asset to find faults and produce a condition report, or survey a site to measure, map, or model it. In practice that covers everything from checking a roof or a chimney for damage to mapping a quarry or producing a 3D model of a building — all without scaffolding, road closures, or putting anyone at height.

We don't offer rigid, off-the-shelf packages. Every asset has unique demands. We collaborate with you on a flexible spectrum, tailored precisely to your internal workflow and data requirements. Tell us about your specific requirements...
The first option is that you tell us what you want, then we crack on and get the work done. You don't need to be involved in any way. We have agreed on what you are looking for, and we use our engineering experience and expertise to get that for you. This could be anything from a condition report of an asset to a full topographical survey of a tract of land. With this option, you never have to leave the office. We take care of it all.
The second option is that we are directed entirely by you. We turn up, and you instruct us entirely on the ground. You ask us to move the camera slightly to the left, we can do that. Want a video of a specific component? We can do that too. We are here to facilitate you and your technical experts. We have field monitors set up just so clients can see on a large screen exactly what the drone operator sees. Essentially, we become an extension of your expert eye. For us, the most important thing is that you can trust the data and the method of data collection. If this means you want to be in the loop, then we're here to make that happen.
Options 1 and 2 are the two extremes — totally hands-off or fully hands-on. But we can also accommodate everything in between. You can decide your own level of involvement in the planning, real-time analysis and on-the-ground operations. We're here to facilitate and get you the data you need to make quick and informed decisions. No matter where you sit on this spectrum, we tailor our systems to integrate with yours.

With drones, it's best to begin where you want to end up. What sort of deliverable would you like when it's all finished? If you are not sure then we can advise. We can look at what you would like and work backwards from there.
Once we have agreed on what is to be done, the scope of work is set and a price is agreed upon. We feel it is vital that everyone knows what they are getting and what they are paying for it. There should be no confusion.
Once we have confirmation you are happy to proceed, we start the ball rolling. We organise things like RAMS, site permits, Air Traffic Control clearance and much more. Basically, we generate everything needed to turn up on-site with all our ducks in a row.
Next, we do the work on site. We have the gear, we have the know-how, so now it's time to get the job done. This can sometimes be affected by the weather, but for the most part, we get the job done on the date specified.
This is where we take what we generated in the field and turn it into a final deliverable for you. This can be anything from the raw data itself, to fully processed Orthophotos, condition reports, CAD line work or thermal imagery.
The final step is the handover of the deliverables. We tend to use a cloud-based service, so you can access your data anywhere. We can also tie into your existing systems if that is more convenient.
