A power station stack being inspected by a drone

Drone services

Your full-service partner for drone services in Ireland. Asset inspections, land and site surveys, thermal imaging, confined space and underwater inspection, and drone consultancy — each delivered by a qualified engineer, not just a pilot. Not sure which service you need? Start here and we will point you to the right one.

Every service, delivered by a qualified engineer.

This is not just photos taken from the sky. Whatever the job — inspecting an asset for defects, surveying a site, mapping land, or building a 3D model — a drone is only as useful as the engineer interpreting what it captures. Every service below is delivered by an experienced engineer who works to your brief and turns the data into deliverables you can act on. Just tell us what you need to know, and we will design the right approach with you.

  • What can a drone actually do for my organisation?

Broadly, two things: inspect an asset to find faults and produce a condition report, or survey a site to measure, map, or model it. In practice that covers everything from checking a roof or a chimney for damage to mapping a quarry or producing a 3D model of a building — all without scaffolding, road closures, or putting anyone at height.

  • Do I need an inspection or a survey?

If you need to know the condition of something you own — is it damaged, corroding, leaking — that is an inspection. If you need to measure, map, or model a site or piece of land, that is a survey. If you are not sure, describe the problem and we will tell you which one fits.

Tell us what you need to find out
  • Who actually carries out the work?

Qualified engineers, not just drone pilots. The aircraft captures the data; the engineering judgement is what turns it into a report or dataset you can act on. Every operation is flown under our Irish Aviation Authority authorisation.

Not just photos Our drone services

Until a skilled engineer decides how to fly it, what to capture, and what the data means, a drone is just a camera in the sky. Across every service below — thermal imaging, confined space and underwater inspection, LiDAR and photogrammetry surveys, volume measurement — the value is the engineering judgement applied to the data, not the aircraft. Choose a service, or tell us the problem and we will match it to one.

Thermal Imaging

Detect abnormalities within your assets that are otherwise invisible to the naked eye.

Not sure which service you need?

Most clients come to us with a problem rather than a service in mind — a roof that may be leaking, a site that needs measuring, a structure that needs a condition report. That is exactly how it should be. Tell us what you are trying to find out, and we will work with you to design the right approach, whether that is an inspection, a survey, or something else entirely. Bespoke Integration

Three ways we can adapt to fit with your team

We don't offer rigid, off-the-shelf packages. Every asset has unique demands. We collaborate with you on a flexible spectrum, tailored precisely to your internal workflow and data requirements. Tell us about your specific requirements...

Option 1

You give us a brief, we deliver

The first option is that you tell us what you want, then we crack on and get the work done. You don't need to be involved in any way. We have agreed on what you are looking for, and we use our engineering experience and expertise to get that for you. This could be anything from a condition report of an asset to a full topographical survey of a tract of land. With this option, you never have to leave the office. We take care of it all.

Engagement level Remotely Handled
Option 2

Join us on site and get hands-on

The second option is that we are directed entirely by you. We turn up, and you instruct us entirely on the ground. You ask us to move the camera slightly to the left, we can do that. Want a video of a specific component? We can do that too. We are here to facilitate you and your technical experts. We have field monitors set up just so clients can see on a large screen exactly what the drone operator sees. Essentially, we become an extension of your expert eye. For us, the most important thing is that you can trust the data and the method of data collection. If this means you want to be in the loop, then we're here to make that happen.

Engagement level Fully On-Site

How does it work?

Reach out and tell us your idea

We take emails, phone calls, messages, everything! If you are unsure of what's possible we are happy to advise, the most important thing is to get in touch. We'll be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Start at the end

With drones, it's best to begin where you want to end up. What sort of deliverable would you like when it's all finished? If you are not sure then we can advise. We can look at what you would like and work backwards from there.

Scope of work and set a price

Once we have agreed on what is to be done, the scope of work is set and a price is agreed upon. We feel it is vital that everyone knows what they are getting and what they are paying for it. There should be no confusion.

Permits and other paperwork

Once we have confirmation you are happy to proceed, we start the ball rolling. We organise things like RAMS, site permits, Air Traffic Control clearance and much more. Basically, we generate everything needed to turn up on-site with all our ducks in a row.

Field Operations

Next, we do the work on site. We have the gear, we have the know-how, so now it's time to get the job done. This can sometimes be affected by the weather, but for the most part, we get the job done on the date specified.

Post Processing

This is where we take what we generated in the field and turn it into a final deliverable for you. This can be anything from the raw data itself, to fully processed Orthophotos, condition reports, CAD line work or thermal imagery.

Handover

The final step is the handover of the deliverables. We tend to use a cloud-based service, so you can access your data anywhere. We can also tie into your existing systems if that is more convenient.
